1. Lewis Prentice was b. c. 1788, Glengarry Co., Ontario, Canada, and d. 1865 per Ancestry.com . He was the son of Daniel Prentice (b. c. 1754) and Mary Hamilton.
Lewis m. Catharine McDonell/MacDonald on 25 Jun 1805 at Saint Andrew's Presbyterian, Williamstown, Glengarry, Ontario, Canada. She was b. in the Scottish Highlands, Knoydart and was the dau. of Dougald MacDonald/McDonnell.
