Census records do not specifically name Jean Prentice's parents. The 1920 census records say only that both parents were b. in TX.
Census records for that period do not identify any Black Prentis/Prentice adults old enugh to be Will's parents, although there are some in Smith Co., TX, some 75 miles away.
We do note that the 1920 census shows, as living next door to Jean Prentice, Will Prentis/Prentice, Precinct 4, Panola Co., TX . They are almost the same age and likely are brothers.
