We are seeking information about descendants of William B. Prentice of Wyoming Co., NY, who appear in our John-2 eBook. Here is what we have so far:

537. William B. Prentice (Charles Jr., 286). Born, Mar 1863, in Attica, Wyoming Co., NY [1149]. Census: 1870, in Orangeville, Wyoming Co., NY. Census: 1880, in Orangeville, Wyoming Co., NY. Census: 1900, in Wyoming Co.,NY.

He married Elizabeth McMaster, after 1880 [1151]. She was b. Dec 1871, in Ireland and probably d. after. 1903 when her son, Emerson, was born. She is probably not a daughter of Thomas McMaster (b. c. 1845, Ireland) and his wife, Martha (b. c. 1848, Ireland) who emigrated 1868 and appear in the 1910 census in Sheldon, Wyoming Co., NY. Children:

  1. Burdick Prentice, b. Sep 1890, NY. Census: 1900, in Wyoming Co., NY. At home in Orangeville, NY in 1910 census. Not in 1920 or 1930 census.

  2. Nelson M. Prentice, b. Apr 1892, NY. Census: 1900, in Wyoming Co., NY. At home in Orangeville, NY in 1910 census. Not in 1920 or 1930 census and not in the SSDI.

  3. James W. Prentice.

  4. Elizabeth E. Prentice. Born, May 1894, in NY. Census: 1900, in Wyoming Co., NY. At home in Orangeville, NY in 1910 census as "Dezzie E. Prentice.

  5. Phebe M./W. Prentice. Born, Dec 1897, in NY. Census: 1900, in Wyoming Co., NY. At home in Orangeville, NY in 1910 census.

  6. Emerson B./D. Prentice, b. c. 1903, probably Orangevale, Wyoming Co., NY. At home in 1910. Not in 1920 census. 1930 census in Warsaw, Wyoming Co., NY, with his wife, Ida U./W., b. c. 1893, PA. No children shown. He does not appear in the SSDI.
