1. (perhaps) Lyle Prentice was b. May 1879 in IL. He appears in the 1900, 1910 and 1920 Brooklyn, Lee Co., IL census (but not 1930 census; see Milo, below) with his wife, Emma M., b. c. 1881 in IL, and children:
   1. Ethel E. Prentice, b. c. 1905, IL. See Milo, below.
   2. Milo J. Prentice, b. 23 Sep 1906, IL and d. 25 Apr 1997 in Rochelle, Ogle Co., IL (per census and SSDI. He appears in the 1930 census in Paw Paw, Lee Co., IL as the head of the household and living with his siblings, Ethel, Eva, Earl, Raymond and Dorothy.
   3. Neva/Eva M. Prentice, b. c. 1909, IL. See Milo, above.
   4. Earl W. Prentice, b. 17 Dec 1912 and d. Mar 1984, Boise, Ada Co., ID (per census and SSDI). See Milo, above.

2. Harry B. Prentice. Born, Apr 1885, in IL. Census: 1900, in Pawpaw, Lee, IL. Census: 1910, in Pawpaw, Lee, IL. He married Pearl M. He appears in the 1920 and 1930 census in Wyoming, Lee Co., IL, with his wife, Pearl M., b. c. 1887, IL, and children:
   1. Edith Prentice, b. c. 1911, IL. At home in 1930.
   2. James C.(?) Prentice, b. c. 1914, IL. At home in 1930. He may, or may not, be the James Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 25 Jun 1913 and d. Apr 1984 in Mendota, La Salle Co., IL. Additional investigation is needed to determine whether he is the father of James A. Prentice, 62, of Mendota who died (2005?) in Mendota Community Hospital. Services were in Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peru. Burial in Restland Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, 800 Monroe St., Mendota.
   3. Esther Prentice, b. c. 1916, IL. At home in 1930.
   4. Ruth Prentice, b. c. 1921, IL.

   Living with Harry and his family in 1920 and 1930 was his mother, Martha J.
