Although only conjecture for based on William Prentice living in Worcester and having a wife named Sarah, he may be the William Prentice who m. Sarah Flanakin on 9 Aug 1814 in Alderminster, Worcester. Alderminster lies about 25 miles SE of Tardebigge. Sarah's year of birth seems likely to have been prior to 1800 and it does not correspond with Sarah's 1806 birth year shown in the 1881 census, but that date may be erroneous.
