1. William Prentice, b. c. 1828 in NY, appears in the 1860 Binghamton, Broome Co., NY census with his wife and family.
He m. Lucy, b. c. 1833, NY, Children:
- Everett Prentice, b. c. 1854, NY. . . . . . . . . [2]
- Estelle Prentice, b. c. 1856, NY.
He may be the William Prentice, age 25, wagon maker, who appears in the 1850 census living with another family at Ostelic which is about 35 miles NE of Binghamton. He may also be the William Prentice who d. in 1905 in NJ per a letter from Barbara Stephenson dated 5 Dec 1997.
2. Everett Prentice, b. c. 1854, NY. He appears in the 1880 Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY census with his wife and family.
He m. Tethesa House, b. c. 1853, NJ. Children:
- Royal E. Prentice, b. c. 1877, NY.
- Nellie M. Prentice, b. c. 1877, NJ.
Also living with them are his wife's parents, Royal and Tethese House
