1. Samuel Mott Prentis was b. 26 Sep 1878 in New London, CT and d. Jul 1959 (per IGI). Our New York Marriages index indicates that he m. Emily Schomburg on 21 Feb 1910. Samuel and Emily appear in the 1930 census in New London, CT without children.
By email of 19 Apr 2003, Joan K. Keyser relates that Emily was her great aunt, that they lived in New London, CT and operated a funeral home, that Samuel "was a great guy" who reminded her "of a sea captain and did...love to eat lobster!"
They did not have any children.
Samuel does not appear in the 1880 census.
