1. Meredith Prentice was b. c. 1848, TX and is a descendant of Perez Prentiss. He m. Emily Greer. They apparently lived in Zavala Co., TX where Emily appears in the 1900 census without her husband. Children (per census and Lori Brockmeyer, email, 17 Apr 2003):
- Louisa Prentiss, b. c. 1876-77, TX (per census). . . . . . . [2]
- Walter Prentiss, b. c. 1882-83, TX (per census). He does not appear in the 1910, 1920 or 1930 census
2. Louisa Prentiss, b. c. 1877, TX. Louisa might be the same person, using the name "Lula", perhaps as a nickname, who appears in the 1900 census in abutting Maverick Co., TX as Lula Prentiss, b. Sep 1876, TX, and living in the home of Thomas A. Jones who seems to be designated as her stepfather.
