1. George Prentice was b. c. 1822 in Oundle, Northamptonshire, England. He is not in the IGI but does appear in the 1851 census of Stepney, Limehouse, as a Bootmaker living at 3 Wrights Buildings with his wife, Agnes, b. c. 1828, Brixton, Surrey, and children:
- Sarah Prentice, b. c. 1845, Newington, Surrey.
- Robert Prentice, b. c. 1848, Shoreditch, London.
- Alice Prentice, b. c. 1850, Limehouse, London.
- Helena Prentice, b. c. 1867, Limehouse, Middlesex.
- Elizabeth Prentice, b. c. 1869, Limehouse, Middlesex.
