Who are Frank S. Prentice's Parents?

By email of 5 Apr 2004, Martha Taylor suggests that Frank is the same person as Francis Prentiss, son of Solomon Prentiss and Ann Jane Ross of Walpole Twp., Haldimand Co., Ontario as shown in the 1881 Canada census. See our Winter 2003 article on Solomon Prentiss of Walpole, Ontario, Canada .

In the 1930 census in Flushing, Queens Co., NY, the enumerator listed Frank's birthplace as Selkirk, a small town within Walpole Township, where the Solomon Prentiss family lived. Lacking any evidence to the contrary, Martha Taylor's suggestion seems correct.
