1. Charles F. Prentiss was b. c. 1830 in MA, as were both of his parents. As evidenced by the birth locations of his children, he later lived in MI, NY, NJ and MD. Charles and his family appear in the 1870 census in New York City, New York, NY. They later appear in the 1880 Baltimore, MD census where he is a Book Keeper. Not in 1900 census.

He m. Sabrah/Sarah E., b. c. 1837 in MA, as were both of her parents. Known children of Charles and his wife are:
