Found in "History of Clinton Co. Ohio, 1915" page 255, section titled "The Pioneers" .. "Thomas Kersey came to Ohio and settled on Todd's fork in 1812, on land adjoining John Carter. his brother-in-law."

    1.01   Thomas Kersey, b. 15 Sept 1759; m. Rebekah Carter (b. 11 July 1759), dau. of John and Ann Carter; Thomas d. 10 Aug 1835.

1. Mary Kersey, b. 15 Jan 1783; m. 29 Nov 1804, at Guilford Co. NC to Eli Millikan.
2. John Kersey, b. 21 Mar 1785.
3. Elizabeth Kersey, b. 31 Dec 1787; d. 16 Nov 1792.
4. Ann Kersey, b. 2 Aug 1790.
5. Thomas Kersey, b. 27 Jan 1793.
6. Rebekah Kersey, b. 8 Feb 1796.
7. Carter Kersey, b. 5 Feb 1802.
